I was recently in Maine for a schooner festival and saw that they had banners on the street poles to promote the event. Knowing that we have the same type of pole setup and banners I wanted to create the banners for the Gloucester Schooner Festival over Labor Day. It's something we could use year after year and build on by adding more banners over time. This project will help promote the efforts to celebrate the maritime event and draw attention to the events that educate the general public about the maritime heritage and culture of the schooners. Gloucester Schooner Festival is a non profit group and while Maritime Gloucester is the host, they are not part of this request.
