Día de los Muertos Community Altar/OfrendA

“Flores de Recuerdo” is a community-based cultural celebration hosted by SRVD Chicago to honor Día de los Muertos traditions through flowers, art, and community remembrance. This project will invite neighbors, families, and creatives to gather and celebrate life while remembering loved ones who have passed.

The event will feature: Community Ofrenda(Altar), Artist Collaborations, Youth and Family Activities. The exhibition ended with a small celebration and with the help of Chicago Awesome Foundation we were able to provide free coffee (from Leche y Canela Café) and pan dulce (from Ponce’s Bakery) that was purchased from other small businesses!
