Skate Park Summer Show - Fine Tuned Presents

Fine Tuned is a Westminster-based organizer with a mission of building community through inspiring, engaging, and educational musical experiences.

The work of Fine Tuned splits into two primary categories;
1) Fine Tuned Productions: Supporting community institutions through production, booking, talent buying, coordination, and consulting services, with clients including McDaniel College Office of Student Engagement, City of Westminster Recreation and Parks, and the Carroll County Arts Council.

2) Fine Tuned Presents independent concerts featuring a variety of local, regional, and nationally-touring talent in and around Westminster. Genres of focus include rock, folk, jazz, and pop: each event is curated with intention and care, with a distinct focus on dignity for audiences and artists alike. Our ethos is simple: Museum curator vision, grassroots heart, punk rock attitude.

As a local performer and music educator with experience in the county from Kindergarten all the way through the post-collegiate and professional levels, I witnessed the apathy amongst Carroll's artistically vulnerable populations: primarily, 15-to-35-year olds who think there's nothing to do in Carroll County.

Over the past year, Fine Tuned has sold over 500 tickets, has grown from 150 to over 900 followers, and has a mailing list of over 300 members. We have hosted over 30 artists from 13 states.

Fine Tuned is expanding our community outreach efforts this summer by providing a free, donation-based summer show at the Westminster Skate Park. This is an upbeat, high-energy experience perfect for showing potential fans and supporters of Fine Tuned the impact we are making. By hosting an event at the skatepark, we are able to reach one of our primary demographics, the 15-to-30-year old creative looking for inspiration. By providing a high-quality, safe experience, folks will experience the magic of the growing live music scene here.

We are hoping to turn this event into a series.
