Canadian Girls Baseball

Canadian Girls Baseball is the only all girls baseball league in Canada, and according to Major League Baseball, one of the largest in the world. Our aim is to give girls across the country a place to play and do so while learning important developmental skills like leadership, teamwork, confidence and resilience.
CGB was founded in 2016 with 44 players, and within our first year we grew to 350 players - that's 840% growth in one year. We are filling a need and empowering girls through sport. Our goal is to offer every girl who wants to play a place where she feels safe and comfortable. We offer programs for players ages 4-16, and women in 5 provinces, and we are expanding as quickly as possible. We also partner with underserved communities to give girls and teens a chance to get in the game at no cost to them.
All of our players are female, our coaches and umpires are all female (role models), and so is our administrative staff. We strive to show our players that they can be any part of this game, on or off the field.
