ANTISTEEL

We are two young Liverpool artists aiming to curate a space to host and develop the next generation of local talent, manifesting in the form of a pop-up gallery in Liverpool for creatives aged 16-25 under the title ANTISTEEL.

We believe there is a space for a project like ANTISTEEL in Merseyside as the local art scene has a tendency to be inaccessible for those aged 16-25, and with operations and exhibitions being overwhelmingly behind closed doors. There is an overwhelming amount of young talent in Liverpool, and our work with ANTISTEEL is aiming to connect these individuals and promote young creatives within our community.

We work to support local creatives and small businesses within the city. Our ideas and aims for ANTISTEEL, are all centred around collaboration and providing a platform for creativity in Merseyside.

The pop-up event would include exhibiting exclusively the work of young people from the Liverpool area, ideally of an evening with performances from local poets and musicians alongside an exhibition of work.
