The PK Art Mile goal is to bring art where the people are and let them discover the power of art in creating community and a festive atmosphere. It is a walkable experience of art in unusual spaces.

PK Art Mile is a free event in mile long downtown Poughkeepsie and want to showcase art using 8 Uhaul trucks transformed in. pop up art galleries for the day(s). The event is planned for September 12 and 13 and it will contribute activating the Main Street corridor by bringing a variety of artistic styles and children's art activities to locals and tourists alike.
It will be an event to bring people downtown to enjoy our beautiful City and see all its potential. We will encourage the audience to stop by the many eateries and curio shops that are present in the area.
The eight mobile galleries will be 15' Uhaul truck will be located in the Liberty Parking lot for the September event.
