The Popup Bike share Project is meant to bring attention to and build excitement around the newly passed Bike Share program that will be coming to Raleigh.
We will be setting up a mock bike share station and adding Pink Awesome Bikes for anyone and everyone to take for a joy ride during First Friday on May 5th!
The real Raleigh Bike Share Program will be hugely beneficial to our community. Research has provided data suggesting benefits across the board from improving community health through exercise, reducing our carbon footprint by exploring environmentally friendly modes of transportation, reduced traffic by encouraging bike commuting, and economic benefits as a tourism draw.
We hope the Awesome Popup Bike Share will be a fun way to spread the word and encourage Bike Share advocacy and participation!
