No Longer Prey is a large-scale ceramic installation consisting of one hundred hand-built rabbits that transforms the gallery into an immersive psychological and physical experience. By filling the space with repeated forms, the work challenges familiar assumptions about vulnerability, power, and agency.
Rabbits are often understood as symbols of prey—fragile, watchful, and perpetually at risk. In this installation, however, their meaning shifts. Through accumulation and density, individual figures merge into a collective presence that is impossible to ignore. As viewers move through the gallery, they find themselves surrounded by one hundred pairs of eyes. The familiar relationship between observer and observed begins to dissolve, creating an embodied awareness of one's place within the space.

Rooted in personal experiences of grief, trauma, and recovery, No Longer Prey explores what happens when vulnerability is reclaimed rather than hidden. The installation asks how power is constructed, how it is felt, and how it changes when distributed across a collective body. What begins as an encounter with seemingly fragile forms becomes a setting of resilience, resistance, and transformation.

The installation will open at Contemporary Craft in Pittsburgh in November 2026.
