We Were There
We are three members of the Cemeteries Advisory Committee and have all been involved, over the last three years in providing public tours and information about the people who lived here during the Revolution.
From that has grown the idea that we would like to make further use of all the information we've discovered and connect to the schools to help our students realize that this period was one of lively activity here and that traces of those people and time can be found today.
We all feel that these ephemeral projects are innately interesting and, having done all the work and research to support the presentations, sharing this information, connected to activities and resources for school students that utilize the historical and accessible sites in Gloucester, would be a positive and more lasting application of our work.
