Organization Mission
Radical Love Resource Center is a new nonprofit dedicated to serving unhoused individuals in Essex County. For the past seven years, we have operated entirely through grassroots outreach, providing meals, clothing, water, harm reduction supplies, nursing advocacy, case management, and assistance with critical needs such as detox placement, obtaining IDs, and securing birth certificates. Purpose of Funding Request
We are applying for the microgrant to establish and maintain the required minimum balance for a nonprofit business checking account. Opening this account is a vital step in our development as an organization, as it will allow us to:
• Securely accept community donations
• Apply for larger grants and funding opportunities
• Provide transparent financial reporting
• Build organizational sustainability

Without this account, we are unable to accept donations formally or grow beyond individual contributions made informally. The initial $500 deposit to the account will unlock the infrastructure needed to manage funds responsibly and expand our impact in serving people experiencing homelessness.

Impact
By enabling us to open this account, your support will directly strengthen our ability to:
• Continue weekly food and outreach services, which currently serve 20+ individuals each Sunday
• Expand case management services to connect people with healthcare, detox, and housing
• Increase our capacity to provide survival supplies such as water, clothing, and hygiene items

This microgrant would not just be about opening a bank account it is about opening doors for the unhoused community to receive consistent, reliable, and compassionate support.
