My Big Fat Pop Up (MBFP) was born out of a shared passion between my sister and I to support small, BIPOC, and women-owned businesses through intentional shopping and community. What started as a personal mission quickly became a vibrant platform for over 400 local brands—from fashion and beauty to home, food and lifestyle—connecting them with loyal customers through curated pop-up events and digital content.

We’ve hosted seven events with a high vendor return rate and thousands of attendees. Our goal is always to drive sustainability by celebrating emerging brands, connect young entrepreneurs and generate much needed revenue for local companies.

The Awesome Foundation grant will fund the development and launch of our official website and expanding our social media presence, to help us host more curated pop-ups with small and medium enterprises in Toronto.
