Fargo-Moorhead Eid Festival

Eid al-Adha is one of two annual Muslim holidays that commemorates the story of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) and his family, peace be upon them, and Muslims all over the world will be celebrating this special day on June 7th this year. Eid translates to 'festival' in the Arabic language, and it is a time to come together.

Our diverse Fargo-Moorhead community is eagely awaiting Eid as well, so we plan to host a fun-filled festival for families, particularly for the younger generation, which otherwise might not have opportunities to come together and experience Eid festivals in this region.

To make it a memorable and exciting day for kids, we plan to have a plenty of activities at the event, such as henna, bouncy houses, face painting, and cookie decorating to list a few. Along with various activities, we will also have food and treats available for guests to enjoy.

The goal is to bring the local Muslim community (and anyone else that might wish to attend) together, enjoy food, and have the opportunity to foster roots and memories.
