Art for Climate South Bend, a registered Indiana non-profit, is organizing a public art exhibit in South Bend. Local students, grades K-12, have the opportunity to create climate change aware art. The art will be displayed in the Main Branch of the St. Joe Public Library starting on Earth Day, April 22, 2023. The interactive public art show will grant students the ability to see their art displayed publicly without paying a fee and allows the South Bend community to interact with each other regarding the complex topic of climate change. I will attach QR codes to art work that allow the museum goers to see more information on the topic displayed in the art. A Wall of Hope will be added for patrons to put their hopes for the future on a wall.
