Coral Woman

Coral bleaching is one of the major indicators of environmental disaster. Now, more than ever, the coral reefs need attention and protection. The Coral Woman Impact Project believes passionately in building a creative tool to communicate this need.
Three artists from different art disciplines, under the guidance of marine researchers, community representatives, and coral reef conservationists, will come together to create a two-piece art installation on climate change and global warming, inspired by the Coral Woman documentary. These installations
will celebrate the beauty, fragility, and significance of corals.
The purpose of this residency will be to create awareness and point people in the direction of action and community participation.
