Faith4Hope presents After-School Matters Community Center is the first of its kind in the Fargo-Moorhead area. This Community Center will be a state of the art facility offering children a safe space and opportunities for engaging activities during after school and weekends. The impact that After-School Matters programs can have on teens affects their day-to-day lives. The goal is to provide students needing support a safe place to thrive. We'll help them achieve success during their middle and high school years to empower them to dream big as they chase after their dreams. Located at 1321 19th Ave N Fargo ND, the Faith4Hope Community Center is a 37,000 sq. ft. space that will be renovated in late 2021 from a daycare center into a community center. This renovation will bring in a large open floor plan along with a class/meeting rooms. After-School Matters will serve 330 under-privileged students after-school programming at no cost for families who qualify and on a sliding fee scale to those who don't qualify. Faith4Hope’s focus is on breaking through racial barriers that trap communities in generational poverty and hopelessness. Our programming will give youth hands-on experience through projects, while working alongside skilled professionals to develop marketable job skills that will enable them to break through racial barriers and alleviate the root causes of poverty. Our programming focuses on improving outcomes in access to education, entrepreneurship, and increasing financial literacy which will pave the road to homeownership. Other classes offered will be Dance classes, Music, Cooking classes, Mentoring & Leadership Classes, Career & Educational Development. Additional services offered are Dance Studio, Music & Recording Studio, Gaming Center, Youth Night Club, Snack Shop, Commercial Kitchen, Clothing Store, and Food Pantry.
