Tiger Trends boutique is for the students at Paris High School who may be homeless, have poor attendance, poor living condition, disheveled appearance or odor, low self-esteem, and repeat of the same clothing. This boutique will be a safe space for students to go to to get clothing, shoes, and hygiene products. There will also be access to a sink, washer and dryer, and an iron and ironing board. Students will be allowed to shop freely without feeling like they are being watched. There will also be an opportunity for students to work in the boutique to earn credits toward graduation. Under supervision of our prevocational coordinator and job coach, students will also learn skills they can apply to seek employment. These skills for example are answering to an employer,, customer service, social etiquette, following directions, organization, and self-direction.
