This summer I am building a unique tiny house that will resemble a small fishing boat out of the water. I'm doing this project in partnership with Refuge Lowell, a local art classroom, and the Lowell Cultural Council as a way of engaging local youth in the concepts of art, reusing found materials, and basic construction skills. This will potentially be the first, and most unusual, tiny house on wheels built up in the Greater Lowell area and I hope to film the whole process!
In a world of rising costs, shrinking resources, and dramatic changes I hope to create something that meets the potential needs of the future in a fun way that will hopefully grab the attention, and imagination, of today's youth. In my ideal future, tomorrows adults will embrace challenges and build their way past them with confidence and creativity!
