One month ago, I launched a fundraiser called Feed The Front Lines Marin.
I partnered with Shoreline Coffee Shop, Watershed Mill Valley, and Juice Girl (as well as Madcap, Bol Mon Rêve Chocolates, and Portside Cibo Bakery) to feed frontline workers in Marin fighting COVID-19. This has been a wonderful opportunity to support not only the people who are working tirelessly to keep us safe and healthy but also to help local restaurants who source from local farms and businesses. So far, we have raised over $48,000 and delivered over 3,500 total meals to hospitals, grocery stores, refuse and sanitation centers, San Quentin State Prison, pharmacies, nursing homes, and emergency pop-up childcare centers. We hope to continue providing meals to community members who are putting themselves at risk to keep us healthy for as long as possible.
