"Country Road" Urban Pollinator Project

Guerrilla Gardeners of Washington DC, a 501c3 non-profit is proposing a project to transform highway access ramps into wildflower-lined "country roads". These areas are often neglected, trash-filled and weedy eyesores. We are planning, in true "guerrilla gardening" tradition, to "seed bomb" these strips of land so that pollinator annuals will sprout, providing vital support to bee and butterfly populations and producing a pleasant appearance akin to a country road.
