Embrace Family Camp

Embrace Family Camp is a week away for those affected by disability and their families. This provides an opportunity for parents to be encouraged, to become part of an understanding community and be refreshed. Also those with disabilities are paired with a buddy (friend/helper) for the week to assist them with various activities during camp such as arts and crafts, recreation, zip lines, rock walls and many more experiences they would not be able to access or participate in outside of Embrace Family Camp. Siblings are also loved in a unique ways where they receive extra attention and activities specific to them without having to someone with a disability's sibling but a person without a label. This is our second year doing this camp and we are seeking to serve 13 families affected by disability. We also provide about 60 volunteers to serve families during this week.
