Over Ons

🚨 Heads up: we are not a small business funding source. We will not pay for business marketing expenses or fund your startup or general operational costs.

🗽 We are the New York City chapter of the Awesome Foundation and only fund projects in and around NYC.

⏰ Our application deadline is the last day of the month. We meet on the second Monday of each month to review the previous month's submissions. If your application is time-sensitive, please let us know in your application.

👉 New York City is bubbling with creativity and we are looking to fund really cool projects that touch everything from tech to social to art to media to education. Do you have a great idea? Apply for an AwesomeNYC grant today!

🗓️ We host a monthly "Awesome Hours" office hours where you can ask questions and learn more about AwesomeNYC. RSVP Now.

⚠️ Some tips for writing an awesome grant application:

Be local - tell us exactly how your project will make NYC a more awesome place

Be brief - we review a ton of applications each month

Be fun - you want your application to stand out from the pack

Be specific - how does a $1,000 move the needle for your project - show us that you've thought this thing through

📝 If you'd like feedback on your application or have questions before you apply, send us an email - we're happy to talk!
