Awesome Georgetown is a local chapter of the Awesome Foundation, a global “experiment in community philanthropy” committed to giving out up to $10,000 in grants throughout the calendar year. This local group of 20-25 Trustees gives “no strings attached” grants to applicants deemed to have the most awesome idea to enhance the Georgetown community in some positive way.

The group is also interested in supporting projects that fall into any of the following categories: (1) Innovation (2) Preservation of Culture and Heritage and (3) Community Appreciation and Togetherness.

We would love to hear your project idea and how it can make Georgetown more AWESOME!

Our deadline for monthly proposals is the LAST DAY of each month.
