Welcome to Driftless Awesome: A chapter of the global Awesome Foundation serving the “Driftless” region of southwestern/northwestern Wisconsin, southeastern Minnesota, northeastern Iowa, and Northwestern Illinois. We are currently open to grant applications and anticipate awarding at least one $1,000 (or several smaller-scale grants) in 2024.

At this time we are also adding Trustees to our team. Each Trustee contributes to the Driftless Awesome Fund and reviews grant applications to help determine where to award the grant. Sound awesome? Reach out to driftless@awesomefoundation.org to express your interest in joining on as a Trustee.

A few important notes: just as with other global Awesome Foundation chapters, Driftless Awesome is not a non-profit organization (Trustee contributions are not tax-deductible) and we are not asking for an investment or ownership stake in grantees’ ideas. Our goal is to provide folks with the funds to complete their awesome projects relevant to the Driftless Area. That’s it. No strings attached.
