The Awesome Foundation isn’t your average foundation. We’re not a charity or a not-for-profit. We’re a group of local citizens who simply believe that the world, and specifically our city, needs more awesome. And we’re opening our own wallets to help Haligonians make that happen.

Halifax's first grant event took place on February 29, 2012...on the 366th day, there was awesome! We launched with a banner event, complete with homemade s'mores, beer sampling and a ukelele performance. Since then, we've been going strong, continuing to support the creation of awesomenisity in Halifax.
