Kailua Intermediate School is offering a new and exciting class to 7th and 8th graders called "Farm to Fork." Students in this class will tend to our urban micro-farm, grow and harvest their own foods.
"Farm to Fork", and "Intro to Agriculture" will be taught from a "Sense of Belonging" focus and lens highlighting Hawaiian foods.
Students will use the Awesome Foundation grant to purchase supplies needed to support hands-on student learning.
Students will learn how to cook a fabulous dish and add it to the family dinner table.
