The Atlanta Chapter of the Awesome Foundation's grants support projects in sciences, arts, education, civic engagement, media, and entertainment -- just about anything as long as it contributes to making Atlanta more AWESOME!
And guess what - 501c3 status is not a requirement!
The grants can go to groups, individuals, small non-profit organizations, almost any entity. We fund grants every month EXCEPT July and December.
*Winners are announced on the 1st of the Month. (a representative must attend our monthly Awesome Hour to pickup the check).

About our Chapter: Awesome Atlanta was founded by Dr. Dionne Mahaffey, a serial volunteer and entrepreneur with a naturally “giving” spirit.
The Atlanta Chapter’s Current Trustees include: Dr. Dionne Mahaffey; Yasmin Smith; Mike Stott; Joey “Digital” Womack, Ryan Cameron, Billy Briggs, Ayesha Doyle, Chris Cooper, Stephanie Pickens-Britton, and Rita K. Davis.
