Welcome to Awesome Edmonton!
We give away a $1,000 no-strings-attached microgrant at a public pitch party to make an awesome idea come true. At the pitch party, finalists take the stage to give a quick 'elevator pitch' and take questions from the trustees and audience. At the end of the night, the trustees deliberate, and one of the projects walks away with the microgrant in cash. It's that easy.
We will announce our pitch party as they come up to confirm the date and venue. Come on out - the events are free and open to everyone. It's always a fun night filled with creativity and suspense, and you might get inspired to come up with your own great idea for the following grant!
