The Orange Moon is an event that showcases musicians, singers, poets, and spoke word artists here in our community. This event takes place down town South Bend at the Chicory Cafe highlighting the new development and opportunities in our city.

This event is all about supporting our local musical talent. Each performer and musician receives the opportunity to perform with a live band in front of a packed house. Many times this is the first opportunity these artists get a chance to perform with a live band as well as in front of a large crowd. This experience helps encourage our artists to continue to invests in their music as well as our music community.

This event is unique because it supports talent that does not always get the opportunity to perform at other popular signature events. The focus of the Orange Moon is to highlight up-and-coming talent, and provide with a platform for them to share their art.

This event has taken place at the Chicory Cafe three years in a row. Due to the pandemic I was not able to host the event last year. With support from the Awesome Fund this event can take place once again this fall.
