I moved to Ontario for school and learned quickly how isolating and expensive city life can be when you're new, broke, or part of a newcomer family. The library saved me. The free events saved me. But I had to hunt for them.

FreeTO is my give-back. The prototype is live—blue, fast, mobile-friendly, and already mapping real venues. With your $1,000, I will connect it to the City of Toronto Open Data, TPL, and Parks APIs; add real-time TTC routing; and launch it free to all 6 boroughs. I'll flyer it in libraries and community centers where it matters most.
