Tuition Assistance Support

At Fall Kill, we believe in the power of making. Our programs encourage the confidence and tenacity to imagine, attempt, fail, and try again. We offer craft-based workshops and classes in ceramics, printmaking, and fiber arts, along with open studio access, visiting artist lectures, demonstrations, and a free summer Teen & Family Clay Program. Led by a diverse community of instructors and makers, our studio is a welcoming space where everyone—regardless of financial background—can experience the joy of creativity.

Located on Main Street in Poughkeepsie, our studios are deeply embedded in a historically diverse and economically underserved area. The City of Poughkeepsie is home to a population that is 36.8% Black or African American, 16.4% Hispanic or Latino, and 49.6% White, with many residents facing financial barriers to arts access. Our central location allows us to serve not only Poughkeepsie residents but also individuals from rural communities throughout the Mid-Hudson region who have limited access to arts education opportunities. By providing tuition assistance, community outreach, and an inclusive, welcoming space, we strive to ensure that financial and geographic barriers do not prevent creative exploration.

With your financial support we can continue to expand our reach through our Tuition Assistance program. Our subsidized programming works to remove the financial barrier between aspiring artists and studio access, and deepens our community impact.
