The GHS Racial Equity team recently held an event at the high school, "Cultural Celebration Night". During this event students brought homemade items, highlighting different cultures they were interested in learning more about, or are a part of themselves. They highlighted games, music, art and information from different cultures from around the GHS community. The group has put together a banner project, to highlight The group is also hoping to highlight other heritage celebration months including black history month, asian pacific islander heritage month, etc. The racial equity team is also hopeful to put together a spring cultural celebration night to involve live music, art, and more from the Gloucester community.
