The St. Vincent de Paul Society provides support for the basic needs of people in the Cape Ann community. Services that are offered, but not limited to, are assistance for rent, heat, and utilities, food from our Food Pantry, clothing, via the Clothes Closet and security deposits. Food is donated via food drives and individual donations. All money we receive is also donated by patrons who have chosen St. Vincent de Paul as their personal charity. A hundred per cent of donations is returned directly to the community of Cape Ann, as no administrative costs or fees are taken. For those services we cannot meet, we direct our clients to various agencies. At Thanksgiving we provide dinners, and at Christmas we provide dinners and presents to the children of the families to whom we have provided services.
