Each Saturday I meet with the youth and young adults in Ellwood Park. We clean the trash and remove the needles (the children do not touch the needles) from the park and the surrounding outer edges of the park. During the summer, we are going to build a garden and fishpond during the clean-up. To further engage the youth and young adults during the summer we want to keep the children engaged in positive activates to prevent and reduce crime while building and enhancing their future outlook.
