Newy Food Adventures was created 6 years ago in hotel quarantine in Sydney when we moved back from England. It’s sat there for 6 years until this year I had the courage to give it a go. Newy Food Adventures offers guided walking food tours in Newcastle connecting people to small businesses doing amazing things with food. The walking tours visit 5 different venues, with an opportunity to try the food, meet the passionate makers behind the food and understand the stories of Newcastle through food. I launched with Newcastle Food Month and have designed 2 curated food tours. All 5 tours have sold out which is so great! I’m now looking at dates for May and looking to continue to build the business tomorrow become a new visitor experience for Newcastle.
