Volunteer-organized a community garden at the Everglades Correctional Institutions focused on a small assortment of vegetables, medicinal/culinary herbs, and also native wildflowers. The work in this prison is meant to give a select group of volunteers the chance to develop their own garden, largely autonomously. Through this program the men can become agents of change in their new communities.
