Art & Soul - The Creative Club & Homework Hub is a result of my passion for teaching, working with kids, and doing my part to facilitate meaningful growth for the kids of our community. I am a licensed teacher whose dream is to bring new opportunities to Georgetown and the surrounding area. Sports are fantastic and our kids participate on town teams, but we also need a space where kids can problem solve, design, build, create, make mistakes, rebuild, communicate, work with a team, and ultimately, everything in between! I want to create a place where kids are excited to be afterschool or while on break. A place that offers clubs for any of the following: Arts and Crafting, STEM, Board Games, Legos, Creative Writing, Book Clubs, or Volunteering/Charity Work. I also envision Art & Soul being the spot where kids want to come to do their homework, work on projects, get some guidance, or be challenged and enriched by a licensed teacher and even more importantly, by a community member who deeply values giving kids a place to safely take risks.
