Toad Hall Bookstore, which strives to be a community institution and not just a bookstore, is in desperate need of a functional, upgraded website.
We've been making good strides in planning events for the community like author visits and story times, but we need a way to communicate and connect with Rockport. Our current website is clunky and unattractive and doesn't allow for us to send out mailings, field questions from customers, or sell books!
As most of you know, Toad is in financial trouble. Like all independent bookstores, sales and foot traffic are declining. Our hope is that with a new website our reach will expand to Rockport residents, Gloucester residents, and our active summer tourist customers.
