Cape Ann Pride is organizing the third annual “Cape Ann Families Bowl With Pride” event at Cape Ann Lanes in Gloucester—a fun, welcoming, family-friendly gathering that brings LGBTQIA+ people and their allies together in a safe and supportive space.
Planned for Sunday afternoon, May 31, the event invites families, teens, and community members from across Cape Ann to enjoy a relaxed afternoon of bowling, conversation, and connection.
This event has quickly become a favorite Pride event because it offers a simple and joyful way for people to come together. Bowling is accessible to all ages and creates a natural environment for people to meet, laugh, and build community.
For many LGBTQIA+ youth and families, spaces where they can gather openly and comfortably are still limited. This event intentionally creates a welcoming environment where everyone can simply show up, have fun, and feel supported.
Cape Ann Lanes has partnered with CAP to host the event, turning the bowling center into a vibrant community hub for the afternoon. By its third year, “Cape Ann Families Bowl With Pride” continues to grow as an event that strengthens community connections while celebrating Pride on Cape Ann.
