Sharing Georgetown’s Heritage

The Georgetown Historical Society (GHS) preserves and displays thousands of items from Georgetown’s rich history. Many of these objects are connected to community stories. Much of the information about these items and stories resides in a database located on one old desktop computer. GHS needs a new computer and would like this to be laptop computer so that information could be updated and entered in the Brocklebank Museum, the Society office, and the public library where the objects are stored. And, best of all, the historical information could be shared with the visiting public including Georgetown residents.
