Dragon Dreaming team on Turtle Island, the United States, has been working collaboratively since 2019. We have several core members - Renato and Lynda, Svetlana, Jill, Mary Ann, and Kathleen. We are deeply committed to creating projects related to community building, art, permaculture and education. As a team, we've been spreading dragon dreaming while traveling around the country. Last year three of us, Jill, Renato, and Svetlana attended the dragon dreaming workshop in Estonia. Several of us want to join the transformational workshop in Estonia in July of 2025. We are asking as a group for a grant for our traveling fund so that we can continue traveling to dragon dreaming events and projects to support, learn, and grow.

How I will use the money:

A little about me:
Svetlana builds communities in many different contexts, seasonal celebrations, community circles, parent support groups, family constellations, and non-violent communication practice. Originally from Moldova, she lived in NYC for 19 years and has been enjoying traveling with purpose and integrating her travels into her life and how she shows up in the world.

Jill Olesker, a native New Yorker, is a seasoned storyteller, story seeker, and adventurer. She is working on Water Stories project gathering oral histories and giving Waters a voice. She has always loved working with children.

Apart from the money, how else can the broader Dragon Dreaming community help you?
It would be helpful to find housing with the local dragon dreamers while we're at the workshops to continue developing the connection and mutual support that has already started.
