If granted this money we will use it to redo the floating docks used to assist people getting on/off the vessel. The current floats are in rough shape and as we hope to be able to allow the general public to board the vessel in the near future. We need to make sure access is an easy experience so people can board and be able to see first hand what being aboard a fishing vessel was like. We hope that this will help make people appreciate what the fishermen went through as they worked to provide for their families. One of our main goals is to share our fishing heritage with as many people as possible and new floats will go a long way to aid us.
