The objective of our awesome project is to provide back to school and wellness resources to young ladies in the Chicagoland area whose families are still financially recovering from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Our event, the M.E.A.N Girls Empowerment Community Wellness Picnic and Back to School Bash will feature several wellness organizations and physical exercise demonstrations that promote self care amongst members of the community.

We have partnered with various organizations that will be providing food and school supplies for the event. We are including a care package distribution for students who are headed off to college in the fall, as well as wellness exams and back to school vaccinations.

This will take place in South Suburban Cook County (Calumet City) which is easily accessible for those who live on the far southside of Chicago
