Community Food Forests

We gather seeds and cuttings of food bearing trees, berries, perrenial herbs, greens and edible roots to nurse in our nursery and propagate in community spaces and public land. We also give away food-bearing fruit and nut trees to low-income individuals and families in Northern California. One of our major projects is planting food bearing trees and native edible roots along waterways in burn scars from recent forest fires. We are all-volunteer and we hold annual gatherings to teach food forestry and habitat restoration techniques to people in our region.
