Hi, I wanted to put together a BBQ in the park for the community set for mid-late May 2026. I already began this project and someone on Reddit told me about this resource, suggesting to use it for this.

I already have a number of activities lined up such as outdoor sports, educational workshop to engines (for kids), BBQ and dietary accoms, music, performances. Turnout size is growing each day and I would love to coordinate this bigger but I can't afford it past a certain point.

I conceived of a family-and-friends-safe event that everyone could come to and just befriend people they haven't ever talked to or met. Build community and fun memories from that. I believe it builds safety, trust, and hope. So after doing that several times in other states, I kinda just wanted to do that right next to my home community.
