I am writing on behalf of Poughkeepsie High School to request funding to support our Cozy Book Project & Winter Warmth Initiative, scheduled to take place during our upcoming Parent Teacher Night. This event is designed to engage families, promote literacy, and ensure that our youngest community members are supported during the winter season.

This year, we aim to provide free books, child-friendly activities, and access to academic tools such as Infinite Campus, all while offering free on-site childcare for families. In addition, we hope to distribute winter hats, gloves, and mittens to children in need within our community.

These resources will directly support our mission to strengthen literacy, increase family involvement, and meet essential needs during the coldest months of the year. Our goal is to remove barriers that often prevent families from participating in school events while also providing tangible support to our students.
