We held a Black Youth Empowerment Summit On Oct. 24th. We are looking to continue to develop the scholars we work with by creating a monthly book club that incentivizes youth for reading the monthly book by a Black author or exploring content that inspires reflection of critical social ideas or issues. We also plan to host a Kwanzaa cultural event that prioritizes principles that promote self- actualization and community healing and restoration.

This endeavor will help to inspire the youth to imagine and think critically. It will also help provide a positive and safe outlet for them to connect to other young people and develop and articulate their thoughts. It will help me facilitate youth leadership cultivation by developing strong minds & voices.
