Every 2 years, our members at Wangi Quilters hold their Quilt Show , held over 3 days and attracting between 500-600 visitors. This in turn supports the local businesses and clubs who benefit from the influx of visitors. Our members displayed over 90 pieces at our last show, not just quilts, but other handmade items as well.

Through the selling of raffle tickets to 2 beautiful quilts our club members have made, we are able to raise funds for local charities. These charities can be quite diverse, ranging from sponsoring the Wangi Fireworks, to supporting a local rowing club, to buying vital medical equipment to the John Hunter Hospital Kids Ward. Last quilt show saw us raise money for Southlakes Incorporated and Wyee Food Hub. Our members are passionate about supporting as many local charities as possible.
