Our awesome project will bring our community together in new ways. The whole town will be included in a spring related scavenger hunt. Stations with people attending them will be set up around town providing hints and small gifts such as flowers, gift cards, spring related sweets, and more. You start at the town green, the grass near the visitor center, and work your way around town, collecting small gifts and participating in activities. At the beginning you will be given a basket or a bag. As you make your way to each station you will need to complete a small task like painting a rock, planting a flower, picking up trash, singing a song, or playing a short game. Then you will be given a hint and a little goodie. There will be a total of around 10 stands. If you finish the hunt, you will receive a free small flower pot to take home at the last station. We will reach out to small local stores and ask if they would like to have a station in their establishment or provide treats and prizes.The whole idea of this is to bring together people of all ages to create a fun, immersive activity that builds community and celebrates spring.
