GaysGiving
GaysGiving is an affirming, heartwarming gathering for LGBTQIA+ people and allies to celebrate chosen family, community, and connection during the holiday season. For many in our community, the holidays can be isolating—whether due to distance from loved ones, complicated family dynamics, or a lack of inclusive spaces. GaysGiving offers a joyful alternative: a place to feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
This year’s event will be held on Sunday, November 23rd at 4 pm at COhatch South Side Works.
The evening will feature:
-A delicious shared meal, with options to bring a dish or enjoy chef-prepared catered selections
-A non-alcoholic/alcoholic beverage bar with cozy seasonal drinks
-Conversation starters and intentional activities to spark connection
-Games and music to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere
All identities, orientations, and generations are welcome: come solo or bring a friend. GaysGiving is about gathering in gratitude, warmth, and queer joy.
By addressing the epidemic of loneliness, especially acute in the LGBTQ+ community, GaysGiving creates space for meaningful connection and lasting impact in Pittsburgh.
