Beekeeping to preserve natural forests

Every year from June through to September, there is a high risk of Nyungwe forest in Rwanda catching fire. These fires are due to wild honey hunters .To avoid these fires, the wild honey hunters can be identified and can be helped to start a beekeeping project around the Nyungwe buffer zone. They can be equipped with material necessary for beekeeping and honey harvesting, They also need to be educated about the importance of the natural forest to their community, to the country and the whole world at large.
